Working together as a commons
The work of the Fabrique des Communs Pédagogiques is based on the idea of working together as a commons.
There can be no commons without collective actions. The commons are neither the resources, nor the community that uses them, nor the procedures for managing them, but the dynamic interaction between all these elements. A good example is the Wikipedia encyclopaedia: there is a resource (the knowledge base), a community (the authors and editors) and a set of regimes and protocols established by the community (the Wikipedia editing and content creation guidelines). The Wikipedia commons emerges from these three elements.
